- He took out the Cadets Division in Gold Coast Bodyboard Club for 2008 over superstar Thorpe Waluew.
- He surfs with a very unique style that looks a lot like Jono Bruce-his ability to hit any size section with amazing rotation is far beyond anyone else his age-nor any age for that matter.
- He is super quiet and doesnt boast about his surfing unlike a majority of the Gold Coast kids, it doesnt seem to be about making it big for Jordan…he is just so passionate about the sport.
- He surfs every single morning no matter what the conditions at either DBAH or Fingal and most of the time by himself. His parents are so supportive of him, dropping him off every morning and then there again to pick him up to take him to school.
- The beach plays a bit part of his family’s upbringing-his sister Eden is a promising stand up surfer at only aged 16!!
