Bill Winchester
Bill Winchester rose to prominence after winning the Movement Mag/BSC ‘Get Exposed’ series a number of years ago. It was then that the general public first took note of Bill’s talent but anybody who had seen the man surf before then knew exactly what the youngest Winchester brother was capable of. Despite his relatively low profile since then, Bill is still one of the most gifted bodyboarders on team BSC and he often outshines bodyboarding’s big names when he chooses to pick up his board and enter the ocean.
Bill recently completed a Business/Marketing degree in QLD - you may have seen an amazing shot of him in last year’s Riptide photo annual boosting a big air at his temporary local break of D-Bah while he was taking some time out from his studies. Now Bill is back in Sydney and hungrier than ever for quality waves. You’ll be sure to see him killing it on the South Coast when it’s firing and shining above the pack at his cherished home break of Curl Curl. Never write off this immensely talented dark horse.
