BSC Team Rider Jimmy Williamson has been through all sorts of hell over the last few weeks after being diagnosed with a rare type Meningitis last Sunday. After feeling a little run down on Saturday with a reoccurring headache his parents took him into the Gold Coast Hospital to get him checked out. Shortly afterwards, Jimmy was placed into an induced coma to prevent the matters from getting any worse. The next 48hrs were critical for the young star as medical staff had trouble getting any response back from him. However Tuesday afternoon he woke up and managed to breathe all by himself-from a health perspective this is amazing news! However on the downside it seems that Jimmy’s school work clearly needs some touching up as when asked a refresher question by the nurse who the Prime Minister was, his response was “I have no idea”…….
The even better news is that he is now out of hospital and walking around, he was even in a good enough state to pay the guys at BSC on the Gold Coast a visit yesterday!!
Jimmy’s goals over the next few months now are to ease his way back into the water(hopefully in time for the Nationals), and to bulk up a bit as he lost a whole heap of weight whilst being in hospital(not that he needed to)….

Thomas has been on fire this past year and continues to blow doors in the line-ups around his new home of the south coast. He has been shooting a stack of footage around Australia for upcoming films “Thrash” and “Hello”, which he will feature heavily in, not to mention being in the firing line of many of the top photographers lenses in his travels.
